A Company of Girls (ACOG) is pleased to announce our 2nd Annual Empow{h}er! event – and the recipients of our first ever Empow{h}er Awards: Mary Allen Lindemann and ACOG Alumna Mackenzie Marles! This year’s Empow{h}er event will be a fun night out to support ACOG’s arts-based resiliency/empowerment programming for girls!
The night will feature: Our first ever Empow{h}er Awards honoring Mary Allen Lindemann and Mackenzie Marles!
And includes: An encore performance of #girltalk – an original theatrical performance created by our ACOG Ambassadors (and a Patron’s Choice Award winner at this year’s at the PortFringe Theater Festival.)
– Lights! Camera! Auction! – a silent auction inspired by ACOG’s mission
– Tasty treats from some of Portland’s favorite restaurants
This event will celebrate ACOG’s 20+ years of empowering girls in our community to succeed. Join us to learn more about our program, hear stories of girls that have participated, enjoy a performance created by current girls, and find out about ways our community can let these girls know we believe in them, and are invested in their futures.
