Multicultural Music Fest – Furniture Friends Benefit

An evening of exuberant music and dance plus delicious international food compliments of local purveyors – all to benefit Furniture Friends.  Performers, donating their time, include: Primo Cubano, playing “son,” Cuban dance music dating to early 20th century; Mbondo  Africa, Congolese drummers; Don Campbell, well-known Maine singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, and Sudo Sudo Dancers of S. Sudan.  Emcee is TV and radio host Tory Ryden.

Furniture Friends provides donated furniture to people in need in Greater Portland, turning empty apartments into real home
