Gorilla finger is a 6 piece reggae band from southern Maine. The groups sound is a aggressive take on roots reggae but maintains a very relaxed atmosphere. Originally inspired by the late Bob Marley the band quickly fell into it’s own releasing an original record titled cool it down. Over the last 6 years the band has shared the stage with many top ranking acts earning them a solid status in the Maine reggae scene.
The Masses is a 4-piece reggae/dub project originating in Verona Island, Maine. Created in the fall of 2020 by Merther guitarist and singer/songwriter Cam King, The Masses indulges in the grooves and vibrations of strict reggae and dub music. Joining Cam in the live setting are 3 of some of Maine’s finest young musicians. Kale Churchill on keys/organs, Nicholas Roy on bass/vocals, and Riley Kern behind the kit. Together, they will recreate the songs from The Masses debut album “Tide Rising” which was released on all streaming platforms in February 2021
