The Last Sip is an original rock trio out of Portland, Maine known for having a flair for the imaginative compositions and artwork of leadman and founder Alleric Vincent Nez well known for many other creative ventures in the local art scene and his current solo music project Mousa. He is joined by cocomposer and versatile musician Brian Arlet on bass, synth and electric guitar and original drummer Aaron David Cloutier formerly of Marion Grace and currently holding the drum seat for Truth About Daisies.
Roughly a decade into their tenure they have now compiled a deep list of songs highlighting the monster folklore of our youth with a fresh and light sensibility in their inaugural self titled LP release. The Last Sip is reigniting an underground fire a for the longstanding genre of monster rock, bringing back to life a new spirit around funny tales of witchery and zombies, stories of werewolves and creatures alike, all set to powerfully swinging grooves, atmospheric glam rock, hard charging blues riffs, funky dance rhythms and flashes of high tempo modern punk jams. The Last Sip is a one of a kind musical experience and stage performance not to be missed. And in the every day spirit of Halloween, costumes and silliness are highly encouraged.
