Yellow LedVedder w/ In Your Honor

July 7 @ 8:00 pm

It’s Sophomore night at PHOME!

Tonight we present the second albums, in their entirety, from two of the most iconic bands of the 90’s.

Thirty years ago, Pearl Jam released their highly anticipated follow up to Ten, vs. It sold 950,000 copies in five days and spent five weeks at #1. Since then it has gone platinum seven times.

A few years later the Foo Fighters released their second album, The Colour and the Shape, named after their tour manager’s rationale for purchasing a bowling pin from a thrift store. Certified platinum in four countries and nominated for a grammy, the Foo Fighters sophomore effort produced the top ten hits “Monkey Wrench”, “Everlong”, and “My Hero”.

Both albums were Mastered here in Portland by Bob Ludwig and both are being presented tonight by local favorites “Yellow LedVedder”, also known as “In Your Honor” when performing their Foo Fighters tribute.

Featuring Ben Kilcollins and Andy Aikens from the band Kilcollins, Joel Amsden from Kennebec Instrument and Amplifier, Jason Young from the band Pop Rocks and Pete Risano from the Tim Mercer Band, prepare to be transported back in time to experience these albums as if it was the first time you heard them. Rock and Roll is alive and well at Portland House of Music!

Tickets are $12 in advance and $15 day of show.

Doors at 8:00 pm | Music starts at 9:00 pm.
